Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided under Articulate Coaching, a trading name of A J M Robertson Consulting Ltd.

By booking a session or workshop, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Services

Articulate Coaching provides:

• Interview coaching (1:1)
• Communication and presentation coaching
• Workshops and group sessions
• Optional professional photography services

All services are delivered in good faith, drawing on professional experience and best practice.

While our services are designed to improve confidence, communication and performance, we do not guarantee specific outcomes, such as success in an interview, job offer, or career progression. Outcomes will depend on individual preparation, application and external factors beyond our control.

2. Bookings & Payment

• All sessions and workshops must be booked in advance
• Full payment is required at the time of booking
• Bookings are confirmed once payment is received

Where payment is processed online, this will be handled securely via third-party providers (i.e. HubSpot).

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

1:1 Sessions

• More than 48 hours’ notice: Full refund or reschedule available
• Less than 48 hours’ notice: No refund (rescheduling may be offered at our discretion)
• In the event that the session takes place within 14 days of booking, you understand that you may lose your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

Workshops

• More than 48 hours’ notice: Full refund or transfer to a future session
• Less than 48 hours’ notice: No refund
• In the event that the session takes place within 14 days of booking, you understand that you may lose your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

By us

We reserve the right to:

• reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances
• cancel workshops if necessary

In such cases, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.

4. Attendance & Participation

• Clients are responsible for attending sessions on time
• Late arrival may result in reduced session time
• Workshops are small and interactive — participation is encouraged but not mandatory

5. Coaching Approach

Results depend on individual engagement and application. Outcomes (e.g. securing a job or promotion) cannot be guaranteed.

6. Photography (where included)

Where sessions include professional photography:

• A defined number of images will be provided
• Images will be delivered within a reasonable timeframe
• Images are for personal and professional use (e.g. LinkedIn, CV profiles)

Usage

Commercial resale or redistribution of images is not permitted without prior consent.

7. Intellectual Property

All materials provided during sessions or workshops:

• remain the intellectual property of Articulate Coaching
• are for personal use only

They may not be:

• reproduced
• distributed
• shared commercially without permission

8. Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and:

• treat all personal information confidentially
• will not share details of sessions without consent

9. Liability

• Services are provided in good faith and with reasonable care
• Our liability is limited to the value of the service purchased

We are not liable for:
• indirect or consequential losses
• decisions made following coaching sessions

10. Clients under 18

If you are under the age of 18, a parent or responsible adult must be present during sessions. All bookings must be made with the involvement and consent of a parent or responsible adult.

11. Health & Wellbeing

Our services:

• are not therapy, counselling, or medical advice
• are intended for professional development only

If additional support is needed, we recommend seeking appropriate professional guidance.

12. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the service, please contact us directly so we can resolve the issue promptly and fairly.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
